Klausies is a program used to submit “listens” (or “scrobbles”) to various music logging services, such as ListenBrainz or Last.FM.
- [X] ListenBrainz
- [ ] Last.FM
- [ ] Libre.FM
- Follow the appropriate instructions to install Klausies by visiting our wiki.
- On first startup, Klausies creates an empty config file at
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/klausies/config.toml
(this is usually~/.config/klausies/config.toml
). Please edit it with your ListenBrainz and/or Last.FM token. - If installed as a Systemd unit, run
systemctl --user enable --now klausies
. - Listen to some music and if everything is correct, you should see your listens being submitted to the appropriate services :)
Klausies can be found on the AUR under the name klausies-git
. Tl;dr yay -S klausies-git
Download or compile your own binary and place it on /usr/bin
. Optionally, copy
klausies.service
to /usr/lib/systemd/user
to use it as a systemd unit.
- Install Rust
- Clone the project
- Run
cargo build --release
