  1. 1.1

  2. Document the thumbnailer filters

Minimal documentation, but it's better than nothing.
  3. Add a thumbnailer_passive filter

Allows for templates to use the new passive get_thumbnail method for
Adds tests for this tag and the thumbnailer filter, which was also
    missing tests.
  4. Make a way to avoid generating missing thumbnails

With a Thumbnailer instance, thumbnailer.generate = False or explicitly
via thumbnailer.get_thumbnail(..., generate=False) returns None rather
than generating thumbnails that don't exist already.
A new easy_thumbnails.signals.thumbnail_missed signal allows you to
catch these misses and deal with them separately (e.g. offload
generation to a queue / separate process).
  5. Move test utilities outside of the tests dir

It's less confusing -- this way it doesn't look like it is a module
testing the easy_thumbnails utils (and if utils tests get added, they
    can go here instead).

  2. Catch a potential OSError when getting EXIF info

_getexif is pretty touchy about errors happening. It was already wrapped
in a generous try/except which catches most issues. It looks like this
one is happening with the TIFF plugin (which is odd, since the image
does seem to be a JPEG - I guess PIL is just confused).
Oh well, just add another exception clause to the except;pass branch.
    Fixes #151.

  1. Fix Django <1.3 support

    easy_thumbnails.conf.settings extended BaseSettings, which was
introduced in 1.3. Falling back to importing from Settings if
that doesn't exist should solve our problem.
  2. Bump version number to 1.0.1
