In version 1.1 when using the ThumbnailFileSystemStorage, if a file that is in the database cache is no longer on the filesystem, the page will exit with an IOError (2, 'No such file or directory') instead of catching the exception.
IOError (2, 'No such file or directory')
This was not the case in version 1.0 alpha21. I think the problem come from the changes done in the get_thumbnailer function around this commit:
Seeing the same thing here. It should invalidate the DB entry when it finds the file is gone and recreate the thumbnail. Ideally, this would even be removed by thumbnail_cleanup
Test that missing files act as expected
I think this may have been inadvertently fixed on master. Reopen if it's still an issue (bonus points for a failing test)
