Bugs dumping

I've noted bugs to report them at once so it's easier to keep track

Note: all of these bugs where found on iPad and all of them are major

Trakt

• The watch next works great but sometimes it doesn't match title correctly since it's probably not going through the same matching algorithm
• It takes longer to load trakt continue watching the which can look weird
• It refreshed on changing pages which is also weird and funky
• It doesn't show live activity and real time timeline in the trakt app nor does it save where you stopped

ik you're not familiar with trakt stuff but if you actually try and test it in something like nuvio you'll love it so I think you should give it some of your time

Mpv player

• Pip only works when you press the button even if you have the setting toggled
• Going back to full screen pauses the video (only on iPad)
• Next episode button is unclickable until it loads the thumbnail which takes like 6 or 7 seconds
• The next episode button should be more transparent so it doesn't cover the subtitles and it should be much smaller especially on iPad
• Anime episodes that are not the normal 24 mins sometimes break the progress you can test it with "smoking behind the supermarket"
• The player ui can still sleep while I'm still holding the progress bar to skip through a video
• The episodes list in the player itself takes way too much time to load it should just use the cached metadata there is no reason for it to take 15 seconds to load

also I have a recommendation to be able to pause and play by clicking on the middle of the video without having to show the player ui

random bugs I found

• Removing stuff from bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark icon automatically goes to the next bookmark. It's hard to explain just try it yourself
• Sometimes while changing between home and library the app slows down and becomes choppy for a few seconds and doesn't stop randomly stuttering until you restart

No, I wouldn't love it, I don't care much for Trakt. But will accept most of these, personal interest isn't the only metric I evaluate feature requests/issues on.

Leaving it like that. I'd rather not mess with it, especially since its only on iPad, making it untestable and its very much not a major issue.

You mean the Next episode poster. And no to each of those. It's somewhat large on iPhone as well, but it needs the extra space, otherwise there's little reason to have the feature if you can't see the poster/title.

Alright. I will also make two tap play/pause not bring up the UI either since that sounds better for consistency.

Can't replicate. Not taking action because it would be firing blindly.

Rest of the stuff needs no comment, many of them aren't major issues like you claim, but they're still worth taking a look at. Next update will be v1.2.0 and is a major update. Will include many things, including these fixes. But I am still a solo tester, so bear with me if something slips through. Thanks for the issue.

Every bug should be fixed and I'm always here to test iPad stuff
Also they are major bugs since my lazy ahh is reporting it there are a lot of bugs I only reported the ones that I encountered literally every day

Mate some of them aren't even bugs, just cosmetic changes/feature requests. And some of them are impossible for me to replicate.

And none of the bugs you listed are major. A major bug would be something like a crash, player refusing playback on a large scale, TMDB AniList breaking, stuff that would cripple a large part of the app. None of the bugs you stated fall under that. Biggest would be trakt continue watching, but that's a medium issue at best.

Trying to keep it civil, I dislike being mean and getting a bit more personal, but this is a pattern with you. No app apart from your own is going to conform to your every need. You got pretty much most of what you're asking in the issue, but you whine anyway without an actual reasonable reason as to why rejecting was wrong. It feels disrespectful of my time that I go through, respond, and implement a lot of what you ask.

Here's my only olive branch to you. iPad specific issues seem to be a sore spot. Make a PR(s) for specifically for ipad bugs/perf issues. I know you still have a fork. I cannot test ipad, but you can as you said.
