Here is the documentation for the BitWatts project.
You can find all the information about our experiments for our paper in the EuroSys'15 conference [here](https://github.com/Spirals-Team/bitwatts/wiki/EuroSys\'\ 15).
BitWatts is built as an extension of PowerAPI. BitWatts' architecture is thus the same as PowerAPI. For more details, please check the PowerAPI's doc. We developed this solution to build software-defined power meters for virtualized environments. It works well on Linux (kernel > 3.0). For virtualized environments, it works with qemu-KVM. VirtioSerial is used to establish the connexion between host and VMs. JeroMQ is used for distributed scenarios.
