  • ported main cob_scan_unifier functionality to ROS2
  • generalized package name to laser_scan_unifier
  • parameters are loaded from .yaml

Features left out

There are some features left out:

  • Removed option of publishing combined LaserScan as PointCloud2. (functions responsible for this are now obsolete, and I'm not convinced this is a necessary feature)
  • Due to differences between PointCloud and PointCloud2, LaserScan intensities field is not populated
