Getting the following error message quite a lot in

/var/log/messages

Apr 23 17:36:05 PkgMan.cgi: pkgtool.cpp:2445 No script for python

Think this is related to the Python package. Any ideas why this happens?

This is because Python has no start-stop-status script as it cannot be "ran". This is something allowed by Synology and described in the documentation.
I suggest you open a ticket to Synology if you wish them not to put this message in /var/log/messages.

Thanks! Wasn't aware of this - makes sense now.

@Romijn

Is it possible that this causes the hibernation to stop working because it's constantly giveing this error ?

I think it only appears when opening the Package Center in DSM which already stops the hibernation.

@Romijn

Alright thanks for your reply, I'm kinda lost why hibernation doesn't work anymore, annoys me

I think hibernation is a feature that you should disable. It is known to harm disk longevity.
