Maintainers Wanted #36
Comments
Dear @n8felton. Our company @TECLIB contribute to the FOSS community from several years ago. And read more about our world wide users here: I am the lead developer of the MDM platform We need your project CFPropertyList to finish our integration with the Apple MDM platform. I can push several PHP developers to keep updated CFPropertyList. We can sign a contract, and move the repo to our org on github/teclib We want to keep the MIT license, your copyright until the last year and the new copyright from @TECLIB starting this year. In cc @thinkcad the CEO of Teclib', @btry and @DIOHz0r, the 2 main PHP developers of Teclib' that will work in your project as full time. Have a nice day. TECLIB' Group |
@ajsb85 I haven't done any PHP in years and I'm happy to hand this project over to someone who can (and will) support it. Which github org would you want to transfer this repository to? |
Hi, @rodneyrehm |
@ajsb85 Great! Any particular date/time you'd like the transfer to happen? |
@rodneyrehm You can request the transfer when you want. |
Hi Maybe a more appropriate way would be to transfer ownership first to a member of @TECLIB, then this member can transfer again to the organization. As a member of the organization I can receive the project to immediately transfer it again to the organization. By the way I began to split a file containing several classes. I'll ask you soon to check source code headers to ensure I did not altered authorship. Current state is available here : btry@5eb0d02 |
@btry hehe, it seems your fork prevents me from handing over the repo to you… |
I renamed my fork before telling you my proposal, but there is a redirection from the old name to the new one. Maybe this is blocking you. Then you can transfer to @ajsb85: he is also a member of the organization. |
Thank you very much ! |
Thanks for stepping up and helping to take over maintaining this! Repository has been transferred. Closing issue. |
Per @rodneyrehm's comment in #34 (#34 (comment)), I wanted to create an issue on the topic of potentially finding a new maintainer (mostly to not muck up #34 with off-topic discussion).
I do not have enough background in PHP to become the maintainer of this project, but I'd be happy to at least be a steward of the project to try and help find a more suitable maintainer.
One option would be to list the project on https://github.com/pickhardt/maintainers-wanted.
There are currently 30 people watching this repo, and 77 forks. Perhaps someone will see this and offer to help maintain it.
