This set contains the data of the paper "One does not Simply RSVP: Mental Workload to Select Speed Reading Parameters using Electroencephalography".
DOI: https://doi.org/10.1145/3313831.3376766
The folders indicate the participant ID. The file names describe the condition with the respective text alignment and reading speed.
- PDF: Baseline PDF reading trial
- sim: Centered text alignment
- optBW: Spritz-centered text alignment without a colored optimal character position
- opt: Spritz-centered text alignment with a colored optimal character position
- 200: Text was presented with 200 words per minute
- 350: Text was presented with 350 words per minute
- 500: Text was presented with 500 words per minute
For example, a file name containing the description sim.350 represents the recorded EEG data of a participant who was reading with centered text at the speed of 350 words per minute.
