The option "Always show transcriptions..." is confusing

I see transcriptions even though I've deselected "Always show transcriptions and alternative scripts" in both cases:

I'm a little confused about the interaction between deselection and the use of the word "always". If the wording were simply "Show transcriptions and alternative scripts", I would expect them to be displayed when it's checked, and hidden when it's unchecked. But "always" makes me wonder whether some condition I don't know about affects whether they're shown when the option is deselected. In other words, does "not always" == "never" for this option?

In the old sentence component this option makes a bit more sense because there is an additional button to display unreviewed transcriptions (see #952). When a transcription needs review, it will be hidden by default and you can display it by clicking this button. The option "Always show transcriptions" will remove this button and always display unreviewed transcriptions.

In the new sentence component, unreviewed transcriptions are displayed when clicking on Show more features. If you have clicked Show more features for all sentences and therefore are always in "expanded" mode, then the option "Always show transcriptions..." is useless. However, if you are in "collapsed" mode, then the option will always show unreviewed transcriptions on the visible sentences. These unreviewed transcriptions wouldn't be visible if you didn't have the option enabled.

The option should maybe be reworded to Always show unreviewed transcriptions and alternative scripts.

That does sound clearer to me.
