Creating a FlyingF3 from scratch

  1. Buy an STM32F3Discovery
  2. [Buy a shield], make your own, or wire it directly.
  3. Flash the bootloader
  4. Flash the firmware

Attention: The Discover F3 board needs to be set up properly for the HSE clock to work: – SB12 closed, SB17 open, R33 removed – SB18, R32, C22, C23, X2 = don't care (thx ala42 for pointing this out)

You now have a fully functional FlyingF3. Enjoy!
