Configurable functionality (on/off) that connects Led blinking
events with button-backlight led blinking function.
Using LUT_LOOP mode of the PWM functionality of pm8xxx
to repeat the duty cycles till notification is over.
Taking care that the blinking doesnt happen when touchscreen
is on. Also taking into consideration that the blinking
shouldnt interfere with normal working of the key lights.

    showp1984 committed with zarboz May 8, 2013
This should provide us with a more battery friendly setup in light

the input boost gives us (faster reaction).

    showp1984 committed with zarboz May 8, 2013
This change brings us down from 10 to 8 checks each second. The input boost reacts without
delay which is why we don't need to check for hotplugs so often anymore.

  17. msm_mpdecision: add input event boost [read more]

    showp1984 committed with zarboz May 7, 2013
This adds an input event boost to mpdecision.
It will basically boost the min freq of all cpus to predefined values if an
    input event is detected.
Devices that qualify as boosters must fullfill one of these conditions:
    - contain touch in their name
    - contain keyboard in their name
This also boosts cpus independently from each other. Meaning:
If a cpu is hotplugged after the boost of another cpu was initiated the next
boost pulse will boost that cpu too.

    Sysfs interface underway.

Add tracepoints to wakeup_source_activate and wakeup_source_deactivate.

  3. PM / Sleep: Change wakeup source statistics to follow Android

rjwysocki committed with zarboz Apr 29, 2012
Wakeup statistics used by Android are slightly different from what we
have in wakeup sources at the moment and there aren't any known
users of those statistics other than Android, so modify them to make
it easier for Android to switch to wakeup sources.

This removes the struct wakeup_source's hit_cout field, which is very
rough and therefore not very useful, and adds two new fields,
wakeup_count and expire_count. The first one tracks how many times
the wakeup source is activated with events_check_enabled set (which
roughly corresponds to the situations when a system power transition
to a sleep state is in progress and would be aborted by this wakeup
source if it were the only active one at that time) and the second
one is the number of times the wakeup source has been activated with
    a timeout that expired.

Additionally, the last_time field is now updated when the wakeup
source is deactivated too (previously it was only updated during
the wakeup source's activation), which seems to be what Android does
with the analogous counter for wakelocks.
