Team Amaze ("us" "we" or "our") operates the development of Amaze File Manager ("Amaze"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from the users of Amaze.
We use your Personal Information only for improving the user experience ("UX"). By using Amaze, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Information Collection and Use
While using Amaze on your Android smartphone, we may ask you to provide certain permission (android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS) that Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, e-mail address, Google+ Profile picture, Google+ Cover picture ("Personal Information"). Your personal information is collected at the Runtime (when app runs) only when you enable "Sign-in with G+" option from Amaze in-app Settings. In order to provide a better UX, the information collected is displayed in the Navigation Drawer.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
We do not log your information anywhere on device or remotely, to avoid any possible hacker methods to break in to your information. All the information collected is directly consumed by the UI components. All the network calls made to receive your information are made to the secure Google Cloud Platform using Google+ API, and a private key.
Hence we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The only official channel for distribution of Amaze are Google Play Store and Android File Host mentioned on our Homepage. Any other mode of distribution is not official and thus, is not maintained by us.
