Background Sync Errors

Issue:

Sync does not run in the background. I have to manually open Team Calendar Sync and push "Sync". When I view the "Sync History" I see errors. The error in the log is "No Internet Connection".

Root Cause:

You could have really lost your internet connection during a sync. If this happens -- don't worry -- the next sync will pick up where this one left off.

If you are sure that your internet connection isn't dropping then most likely this is a device issue. Most users that have reported this issue have been running a Samsung Galaxy 7 or Samsung Galaxy 8. It seems Samsung decided to add some "neat" battery saving "feature" that prevents apps from accessing the internet when they run in the background. Check your "Settings" to see if "Background Data" is enabled.

Settings -> Applications -> Calendar Sync -> Mobile Data -> Allow background data usage

Settings -> Applications -> Calendar Sync -> Mobile Data -> Allow unrestricted data usage
