Connecting controller results in "cant open ms gamebar link"

As the title says, when I do get a joycon or other controller to sync, my pc gives me a popup that says "cant open ms gamebar link". The application then says the controller is connected, but its not and then disconnects once I press enter to close.

not really sure what this could be, if its ms gamebar then its probably xbox gamebar or something..???

Sounds like that's the xbox gamebar trying to automatically open itself.
This isn't an issue with the joycon2cpp, but rather your windows computer.
You can just ignore this error, it shouldn't cause anything to break.
