Request Type

Work Environment

Question Answer
OS version (server) Debian
OS version (client) Seven
TheHive version / git hash 3.3
Package Type DEB

Problem Description

Setting the status of an alert to "Ignored" does not work.
No error is generated, but the status is always set back to "Updated"
This behaviour has changed, was working in the past.

Steps to Reproduce

-Create an Alert
-Make an API Call to just update the status to "Ignored", status will be set to Updated

This is a missunderstanding from my side. The design is to use the API-Call "delete" to delete an alert instead of updating the status to something different.
Because Alert deleting means technically "set status to ignored".
Close as invalid.
