Facebook posts which are longer than Twitter posts get cut off in ThinkUp; must enlarge post_text field to accommodate the content.
Step 1: Determine how wide the post_text field has to be to accomodate the largest-width Facebook post.
Step 2: Create a database migration to widen the field. See: How to change the ThinkUp database structure guide
Max facebook status update is 420 characters (including spaces).
I should note, I'm working on the db migration script too, just for clarity's sake
Great. Then it looks like we have to change the post_text field from varchar to a text type to accomodate 420 characters. Hopefully this won't affect any of the indexes (like the fulltext index). Luckily the tests should let us know if there are any effects.
rwinikates: Any update on this? Looks like you deleted your fork...?
