Alloys for progression

From iron age to cobalt age you will need special alloys (ingots) that depend on each other to progress further.

Iron > Diamond age

Knightslime Alloy

Unlike in default Tinker's Construct the knightslime alloy needs these resources:

• Steel (made with Immersive Engineering)
  
• Purple Slime (floating Slime island. A quest guides you on how to build a slimetree farm)
  
• Manasteel (made with Botania)
  
• Blood (damage a mob/animal/player inside a Tinker's smeltery)
  

Diamond > Obsidian age

Adamantium Alloy

• Knightslime (previous age)
  
• Terrasteel (Botania ingot)
  
• Honey (Forestry beekeping > put with bucket into the smeltery)
  
• Electrum Alloy (Gold+Silver)
  

Obsidian > Cobalt age

Smelting temperatures

By reaching obsidian age you will have to deal with a new problem:
Emeralds, Ardite, Cobalt (and their ores), Elementium, Pigiron, Manyullyn, Gaia Spirit and Gaia Steel need a smelting temperature way hotter then lava.
To reach those temperatures in the smeltery you will need to obtain Liquid Starlight and use it as fuel in the smeltery (Astral Sorcery mod).

Pigiron Alloy

• Adamantium (previous age)
  
• Emerald
  
• Elementium
  
• Milk put with bucket into the smeltery) > Note that not all cows give normal milk. Another viable source of milk is the Cow in a Jar (Cooking for Blockheads mod)
  
• Elementium (Botania ingot)
  

Cobalt age

Manyullyn

• Pigiron (previous age)
  
• Ardite & Cobalt
  
• liquid XP (Use bucket to fill liquid XP into the smeltery. Obtained with Mob grinding utils mod)
  

Gaia Steel

This is the ultimate alloy for tools / weapons

• Manyullyn (previous alloy)
  
• Gaia spirit ingot (Botania bosses)
