db up-to-date

I think there both npcs are missing some waypoints.
right now, the are only standing around.

He means, there should be a lot of Kodo (many kinds) to make a team (creature_formations) and move together.

but i don't know if they should have these waypoints already in wotlk.
i will close this ticket, if you find some proof which will disable my argument.

I can't find the exact waypoint too, so I made it up as my memory :)

Those pins on wowhead aren't really paths, they're just places where players have killed the NPC.

Yeah, I agree with @Mr Smite but the place of killing indirectly reflects the way point

@kldxzzhc2 - Not necessarily, the creature could just be wandering around and it depends how many are spawned.

In Trinity there is the ability to have random movement which does not require waypoints. Some NPCs will wander X yards away from spawn using the random movement which would give the appearance on a place like wowhead that they are pathing.

You mean we make a big creature team(creature_formations) and set the leader's spawndist = 1000 or larger?....

@kldxzzhc2 - Yes, that should work if the formation system overrides the spawndist for the calves so they follow the Matriarch rather than wandering around.

IMO if they're just standing around then it would seem that they're broken, I've seen a few random NPCs like that around Elwynn, Duskwood and Westfall.
