  • DONE Standard save behavior - editor should know when it hasn't been saved, provide a button and standard keystroke
  • DONE Take away the double-click to edit description, this results in too many accidental descriptions (that end up being empty)
  • Maintain user edited MODS in external files, in a subdir, rather than within the METS document itself.
  • replace the URIFragmentEditorInput with a standard file-uri-based editor input, addresses #20
  • add an Arrangement right-click menu option to "remove description"

Are there any other usability improvements? Is right-click menu the best way to let user's create/delete a description?

oh yeah:

  • CDR Export function needs to remove any dmdSec containing a invalid MODS element. It should produce informative warnings about this, but proceed with the export.
  • If possible, have the MODS editor detect this problem on save.
