Currently apt-fast is not in the official repositories of Ubuntu and Debian so it is not possible to use it on any derivative.

Nevertheless there was a request and I would like to gather here your experience on using apt-fast instead of regular apt, like:

  • quantifiable pros' or cons'
  • any kind of breakage
