Hey guys. I bought Magical Diary during the Linux Celebration Sale, but it crashes right after the little splash screen. Here's what I get in the terminal when I launch the shell script:

Here are my specs:

Desktop Environment: Cinnamon 2D

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.8GHz (Hyperthreading Enabled)
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 (1GB VRAM)
Memory: 16GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM

Have you installed libxmu ?
I see you get this error.
ImportError: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

PyGuy95 commented Feb 15, 2013

Yeah I noticed that, too. How do I install it?

either through Ubuntu Software Center, or via a terminal sudo apt-get install libxmu should do it (I'm not on Ubuntu, so not quite sure)

PyGuy95 commented Feb 15, 2013

Hmmm it couldn't locate a package called libxmu, and installing the top result in the USC didn't do much either.

Majlo34 commented Feb 15, 2013

sudo apt-get install libxmu6

You can use if you need any package for any release

PyGuy95 commented Feb 15, 2013

Strangely enough, I already have that package installed. :S
