Submitting Mods for Quark Friends #1939

@Vazkii

Description

@Vazkii

If you have a mod you'd like to be represented in the Friends section of the Quark website, you've come to the right place.

If your mod is approved, you'll get a small section to show it off, such as:

Requisites

  • The mod must be Vanilla+ styled in the same fashion as Quark is.
  • The mod must run on Forge, and the latest version of Minecraft that Quark is available on (currently 1.19.2).
  • If the mod has features that would create content gaps with quark (i.e. new wood types, new slabs), those must be handled.
  • I must be interested in the mod and willing to promote it.
    • If I've used your mod in modpacks I made, such as Crucial 2, or Bliss, you can probably assume this.
    • Otherwise, feel free to drop by my Discord and @ me with a link

What to do

If you got my approval to add a mod in, you'll have to pull request in the changes.

  • Add your mod over to the Friends section in features.json
    • It's right at the end, feel free to copy one of the existing ones as a template.
    • Be careful to not write too much, as the space you have for a description is limited. If you need to test if it fits, use your browser's dev tools.
  • Upload an image to the /friends directoy.
    • The image should be a 400x400 .jpg
    • Look to the other ones already there for inspiration on how to show off your mod.
    • Please don't include logos or other overlays.

Submitting mods on the behalf of someone else

You can promote a mod someone else made. If you want to do so, make sure it follows all the requisites. You also have to contact the author of the mod to make sure they're okay with the mod being shown off.
