Setup:
Write small amount of metric to VM using TCP and Graphite protocol

Result:
Unable read metrics in realtime, only when connection is closed

Expected:
Read metrics almost immediately after write

as workaround you may use new TCP connection for every write or UDP

The issue must be fixed in v1.17.5
