Sapling Parameters

In order to run, VOLT now requires two files, sapling-output.params and sapling-spend.params (with total size ~50 MB), to be saved in a specific location.

  • If you run Windows setup file it will automatically copy the files in the proper location.

All Users must save the params files in the proper location, before being able to run VOLT v1.0.0:

  • Windows users need to manually download both files from the https://github.com/Voltblockchain/VOLT/tree/main/params folder to the AppData\Roaming\VOLTParams directory.

  • Linux/Ubuntu users need to set both files to the /home/YOUR_USERNAME/.volt-params OR root/.volt-params directory.

  • MacOS users need to set both files to the /Library/Application Support/VOLTParams directory.
