Prize Title

WalletConnect Ticketing System

Prize Bounty

Up to $1,200 in ETH

Challenge Description

Create a WalletConnect Ticketing System for events. A simple interface that event attendees could buy tickets for an event prior to attending and also scan at the entrance of the event through the same interface managed by the event staff. This website would use WalletConnect to connect to the user's wallet to initiate a session to obtain the user's address followed up by a signing request to confirm ownership of the private key. This system should be able to both verify the user's key ownership, verify that the user owns a ticket and ensure that no ticket is double spent. This could be approached by either issuing NFTs to user's wallet on purchase and/or using an identity system like 3Box (bonus points if using 3Box)

Submission Requirements

A valid submission for this bounty should meet the following requirements:

  • webpage for buying tickets using WalletConnect
    • show how many tickets are available
    • issue a ticket after successful ETH or ERC-20 transfer
  • webpage for validating tickets using WalletConnect
    • only one ticket per wallet
    • tickets can only be validated once
    • tickets are non-transferable after validation
    • bonus points if using 3Box

Submission Deadline

Submissions must be sent before December 16th at 12pm EST time

Judging Criteria

Valid submissions will be judged by best user experience

Winner Announcement Date

Winner will be announced on December 23rd at 12pm EST time

This is a great idea! 🙌

Add WalletConnect to RSVP and then use WalletConnect for admin to check attendees at events with their wallets.
