Holy Kronos <gabriel.kronos@...> commented By the way, I forgot to mention that this happened in all versions I had downloaded in my computer (2.3 beta 3, 2.3 beta 4 and 2.2.4) |

anonymous commented Yes, its a mayor issue. Probably occurs when somebody has too high ping/packet loss. Interesting thing is, that only some players 'freeze', when others can play normally: 1 - I was hosting a game, high power, about 6 players (I don't remember well) My screen froze shortly after start. I waited about 3 min then did a rehost. Other players told me, that they were able to play (but 'it was a bit slow') It happened on 2.2.4, 2.3 beta3, beta4. I didn't have it on beta6 yet, but I played only 3-4 beta6 games |

Holy Kronos commented It's exactly what's happening here, the strange thing being that my game was in wireless LAN, not internet... so I don't really think it's just something related to high ping, though the quality of the signal may influence this kind of bug. (at 2 times the connection with the other computer was strangely cut down, but when that happened, the game just told that the player has left the game, without any freezes) And as far as I can tell, I haven't tested this behaviour in beta 5 or 6. |

keyword_freezekeyword_graphicskeyword_multiplayertype_bug| by Holy Kronos <gabriel.kronos@...>While playing multiplayer, my computer suffered some random freezes which could last from a couple seconds, going up to 2-5 minutes, and during this, all my development and research don't make further progress and any units attacking may either continue fighting autonomously or doing nothing, even if attacked by another enemy troops. In the meantime, my opponent may continue the game like everything is normal, and when my computer resumes playing, he may be much more advanced than me.
Keep in mind that the multiplayers were occurring between a computer running with Vista, and another running a Mac OS X 10.6.1, and while most of the freezes happened on the Windows, my friend reported some freezes and crashes on his Mac, though in a far less frequency than in my pc.
