Hi,

Using the latest beta (3.1b7), when you attempt to join a LAN game (at least, when searching using the computer's name), if the host hasn't started hosting yet, the music stops and the game becomes unresponsive whilst it attempts to connect. Eventually it says it can't connect and everything starts working again, but by that time many people may have force-quit the game (like I almost did). Not sure if this is something that needs fixing or not.

As well, there was a crash while playing,, but I've made a separate topic for that (bug 3351), I've gotta see if I can get ahold of the crash log from the game host (got them).

Not a bug, it just timeouts waiting for the host.
I suppose we could make a smaller delay though.

The timeout is about as low as we can make it, since we need to support a wide variety of ping times.

So, we are keeping that value as is.
