This is a pre-compiled infiniloopd for Ubuntu 20.04 and compatible systems.

Some users have reported that the following dependencies may need to be installed to run the pre-compiled infiniloopd - These dependencies can be installed to enable the daemon:

  1. GLIBC_2.29: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/how-install-glibc-2-29-or-higher-in-ubuntu-18-04 and possibly http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/9.0-systemd/chapter05/glibc.html

  2. GLIBCXX_3.4.26: lhelontra/tensorflow-on-arm#13 and possibly coder/code-server#766

Please note, installing and running the Daemon is an advanced task; It should be reserved for blockchain infrastructure projects (e.g., servers, explorers, etc.); The Qt wallet should be used for routine applications.

[January 31, 2021] This is an updated release of InfiniLooP for both Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows Operating Systems.
The compiled 32-bit Qt should be compatible with multiple Windows platforms. The Ubuntu 20.04 binaries work with fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04 without the need for fresh re-compiling (which gets a bit complicated with newer Ubuntu versions). The best / easiest Linux systems for compiling InfiniLooP are Linux Mint 18.3 and Linux Mint 19.3 - On these two platforms, compilation with minimal dependencies takes only minutes, without errors.

New code upgrade features the following:

  1. Added blockchain checkpoints to enhance security

  2. Optional addition of infiniloop.conf with "paytxfee=0.001" added to prevent dust attacks
[Note: This has not happened with InfiniLooP but it did happen with Blackcoin and other similar projects]
[Win32: The infiniloop.conf file should be placed in the following folder: %appdata%/infiniloop]
[Ubuntu: The infiniloop.conf file should be placed in the following folder: /home/.infiniloop (hidden folder)]

  3. Added additional seeds for faster blockchain synchronization

  4. For even faster blockchain synchronization, users can utilize our new block explorer:
    [URL: http://explorer.infiniloop.io http://207.180.216.126:3007]
Under the "Network" tab, there are multiple active IL8P Network connections listed
In your wallet, you can open the Debug Console and enter the follwing for each new node:

    addnode ABC.DEF.GHI.JKL add

    Actual example:

    addnode 62.171.161.79 add

This completes the addition of a new node "62.171.161.79"

  5. New upgraded graphics designed by >>Auscoi<<

  6. Win 32 Binaries tested / work across a broad range of MS Windows environments
    [SHA256 enclosed within .7z file]

  7. Ubuntu 20.04 Binaries tested / work well with fresh installation of Ubuntu 20.04
    [SHA256 enclosed within .7z file]

  8. Separate release featuring "infiniloopd" daemon for Ubuntu 20.04 and compatible systems will be provided separately
