Hi,

Are you using the import wizard to create the records? I have found when importing a zone file with a large amount of records, not all of them get imported. However, when I have >130 A records in a zone, I am still able to create a new record using the normal method by clicking on Zones, domain name, and then adding the records.

Thanks.

I added a couple more records to my test zone and then I couldn't add anymore as the validation page became blank. I've found I was hitting a php limit with my configuration and I suspect you are hitting the same.

Can you please add the following line to your .htaccess file and see if that resolves the issue for you?

php_value max_input_vars 2000

This is a temporary fix and need to know if it gets you back up and running.

Thanks.

The PHP value max_input_vars was introduced in PHP 5.3.9. Please let me know if you are using an older version of PHP.

Apache error log would show something similar to this:

[Mon Apr 28 16:01:12 2014] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: Unknown: Input variables exceeded 1000. To increase the limit change max_input_vars in php.ini.

Great! It's confirmed the max_input_vars limit was being hit. I've added a check to see if the limit is exceeded which will produce a friendly error message stating as such. This will go out with the next release.

#85 will also help with this issue once it's implemented.
