This repository contains the data and a fully compatutationally reproducible manscript belonging to the Cognitive Science 2021 publication 'A Systematic Investigation of Gesture Kinematics in Evolving Manual Languages in the Lab'.

In 2024 the code was kindly checked for reproducibility by researcher Elen Le Foll (Osnabrück University) using R version 4.3.1. Due to her quality checks, the github has undergone a few helpful corrections, including some lines of code not running because of caching issues and added some missing libraries (and adding a missing reference). The code is still fully functional in 2024.
