Attempting to either download a client version, or host/join a map in results in an error

i tried using the commands shown in the description, but none of them seem to work.
i was using the latest release of roblox freedom distribution

i even followed the tutorial video in the same page but even the command shown in the video doesn't seem to work

not only that but removing the "rfd.exe" part from the host map command causes the program to crash

You are using improper syntax.

If you're using cmd.exe or PowerShell, then you begin your command line with "RFD-windows-latest.exe", that is before server and everything else.

I see that you're using what'd called a read-eval-print loop, or REPL for short.

You should begin your command with server as the first word.

i tried, but putting server RFD-windows-latest.exe --run_client "./Examples/F3X Server/GameConfig.toml" --user_code VisualPlugin --rcc_port 2005 causes the program to crash. i opened the RFD exe file via, well, double clicking on it ofc. then after opening it via selecting the exe file and typing "cmd" into the directory box (or whatever it's called) i tried again

maybe you could update the tutorial with newer commands?

Any avatar configuration is defined in your GameConfig.
