The thing I find most frustrating is keeping up with the constant churn and breaks and general developer mentality of “we will get to that, no idea when, code around it” and then many months later nothing changes, but you have to try to know.
An Update-AzureModule like thing would be really useful. Even if it only does a version check and refers me to some URL of changes.
At least I would get some type of feedback, instead of just continuing on mindlessly working with a break that I might not even know is a break.
There needs to be some way to close the feedback loop on this. Lots going into Azure in regards to suggestions, fixes, etc. But little coming back to me as a user / consumer.
We already have change log in the repo is that what u r looking for?
So you are looking for Get-AzureModule that would do something like this
PS C:\Users\ogail> Get-AzureModule # In case you have latest version and you are up to date
VERBOSE: You have latest version 0.6.9
PS C:\Users\ogail> Get-AzureModule # In case you need to update
VERBOSE: Your version is 0.6.5, you need to update to 0.6.9 go to http://ChangeLogFile to check latest changes.
Ultimately you are looking for Update cmdlet that can update ur bits if they are not up to date
