  2. dxvk: use $W_TMP_EARLY rather than $W_TMP

    austin987 committed Aug 10, 2018
$W_TMP breaks under winetricks-test, since it is inside the prefix,
which contains '-', which w_download_to() balks at.

This was inadvertently done when fixing shellcheck issues
(which aren't appearing in current versions). Added a comment to
    prevent future breakage.

Fix sha256sum, for updated re-release of version 0.63.
he Vulkan API requirement remains unchanged at 1.x.73.

From dxvk-dev discord channel (Sat 21 Jul 2018):

    bobwya (Rob):
"For winetricks ... Does anyone know what the minimum Vulkan layer version is now for DXVK 0.63??
The Vulkan headers are bumped to 1.1.80 I see... But is 1.x.80 a "hard" requirement? Or still 1.x.76?"

    ドイツ人 (Philip):
"i'm not using any extensions that new"

  4. Add winetricks.bashcomp BASH completion script

bobwya authored and austin987 committed May 3, 2018
      * Scrapes raw winetricks script (so requires no secondary calls of winetricks
=> no indirect calls to wine).
      * Profiled using the BASH profiling script: 'elap.bash-v2'.
Iterative improvements made to improve script startup performance.
      * Assignment verbs are displayed without any values initally.
Once the end-user tab-completes a specific assignment verb then the value choices
        (for that verb are presented).
      * The prefix command is handled in a similar manner to assignment verbs.
However the value is any user selectable directory path.
      * Culls repeated options (including inverted and equivalent long / short variants).
      * Culls repeated verbs.
      * Detects terminating verbs and options, temporarily disabling any further tab completion(s).
      * Short options are only tab-completed when the user starts a term with: '-'
      * Long options are only tab-completed when the user starts a term with: '--'
      * To aid upgradeability and readability: breakout all major regular expression search terms
used, in the script, are defined as fixed global variables.
      * The completion script passes checkbashisms (2.18.3) and shellcheck (0.5.0) tests.
NB The core functionality of BASH completion is dependendent on BASH version >=4.1.
      * Use fall-through, exhaustive search for a working awk variant. Avoid using
outdated/broken mawk version 1.3.3 that Debian still ships.

  1. Swap Tahoma version v2.26 for v2.60

Lantizia authored and austin987 committed Jul 16, 2018
Put simply the core fonts project have had the IELPKTH.CAB file laying around on their sourceforge account for ages, most Linux users when needing Tahoma probably find it (or a similar copy of IELPKTH.CAB) there first.

I have no rationale for wanting version 2.60 over 2.26 other than to say that if we were not interested in newer versioned fonts, then why does verb 'eufonts' exist when that's all that does?

Looking through FontForge the only thing I can see different between these versions is 10 more symbols... however both of them already have the euro symbol (so if that is the reason for the 'eufonts' verb to exist is for adding the euro symbol, that reason isn't applicable here).

Also it's worth noting that although the file currently being downloaded is called "tahoma32.exe" which looks similarly named to the other with something32.exe named files from the 'Core fonts for the Web' effort... that naming is coincidental. Tahoma is not a part of the 'Core fonts for the Web'.

  1. corefonts: add missing Andale Mono font

    See https://web.archive.org/web/20020124085641/http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontpack/default.htm

Definitely part of "Core fonts for the Web", some older Windows applications expect to find it as it used to be distributed by Windows.
