Motivation for the change, related issues
Instead of offering the
nightlyWordPress build, that requires a daily CI job that commits a new version to this repository, this PR moves to atrunkversion that downloads the latest trunk from the https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress/ repository. Also removes thewp-nightly.zipfrom thewordpress-buildspackage.The
nightlyslug will continue to work, but will now refer to thetrunkbranch.Other changes
Adds a helper script to ensure PHP CORS proxy is running for the duration of the CI e2e tests to reduce the flakiness of the results.
