XCRemote Instalation Guide for XCSoar and LK8000

How to configure XCSOAR for XCRemote.

1.Öffne in XCSoar das Menü, wähle:

• Konfig. > System > Aussehen > Sprache/Eingaben > Ereignisse > Download und lade die GLB_XCI-remote-XCNav.xci file.

Open the XCSoar settings menu and goto:

• Config > system > Look > Language/Input > Events> Download and install the GLB_XCI-remote-XCNav.xci file.

2.Starte XCSOAR neu

Restart XCSOAR

3.Wenn Du das XCVARIO verwendest, muss dieses in den XCSoar NMEA Einstellungen auf Platz 1 oder 2 verbunden sein um die Steuerung via XCREMOTE zu ermöglichen.

If you use the XCVARIO, this must be configured on position 1 or 2 in the XCSOAR device settings.

Stelle das XCVARIO unter SYSTEM>VARIO&S2F>S2F SETTINGS auf "EXTERNAL" um das XCVARIO komplett über deine XCREMOTE zu bedienen.

Go to your XCVARIO settings SYSTEM>VARIO&S2F>S2F and set it to "EXTERNAL" to fully control your Vario via XCREMOTE.

How to configure LK8000 for XCRemote

1.Öffne die System Konfiguration in LK8000

• Goto MENU > KONFIGUR 2/3 > KONFIGUR LK8000 > KONFIGUR GERÄT

1.Open system configuration menu in LK8000

• GOTO MENU > CONFIG 2/3 > LK8000 SETUP > DEVICE SETUP

2. Wähle "XCREMOTE" im Feld GERÄT MODELL

2. Choose "XCREMOTE" in the DEVICE MODEL field.

3. Das Basic Setup ist beendet. Um die Funktion der frei wählbaren Knöpfe auf Deine Bedürfnisse abzustimmen gehe zu:

• MENU > KONFIGUR 2/3 > KONFIGUR LK8000 > KONFIGUR SYSTEM
• Gehe zur Seite "10.Bedienung und Auswahl Informationen"
• Wähle "Konfiguriere Benutzer Menu" Die ersten 7 Punkte können über XCREMOTE abgerufen werden. Konfiguriere nach belieben

• select "Configure Custom Menu" and select your prefered setup. XCREMOTE will call the first 7 custom menu functions.
