All YUSAOpenY packages updated for Drupal 11.3 compatibility. 71 PRs/MRs merged across 6 GitHub + 31 drupal.org repositories. Every Layout Builder block, theme, and content type received a major version bump.

MenuTreeStorage optimization (MR !14230)	50% fewer SELECT queries during cache rebuild, 26% faster MenuTreeStorage::doSave(), 15% faster drush cr. Contributed by podarok, committed to Drupal core.
Route rebuild optimization (MR !14231)	Reduces unnecessary route rebuilds during module installation.
Breadcrumb cache fix (PR #341)	Removed max-age=0 from breadcrumb block — pages previously uncacheable due to breadcrumb are now cached by Dynamic Page Cache.

Media Tags

New tag-based media organization replacing media_directories folder navigation.

Migration Guide

Entity Browser → Media Library

All media fields migrated from entity_browser_entity_reference widget to core media_library_widget. This is the main architectural change — 34 modules updated with individual update hooks.

Affected Layout Builder blocks (with update hooks):
Cards, Carousel, Ping Pong, Promo, Hero, Staff Members, Statistics, Testimonials, Partners, Grid CTA, Donate, Tabs, Branch Amenities, Simple Menu.

Affected content types: Article (LB), Event, Camp, Menu CTA.

Affected OpenY Features modules (via openy_upgrade_tool.param_updater):
openy_media_image, openy_media_document, openy_media_video, openy_media_local_video, openy_node_blog, openy_node_event, openy_node_news, openy_node_program, openy_prgf_banner, openy_prgf_gallery, openy_prgf_small_banner, openy_block_featured_highlights.

Module uninstall: Handled by openy_post_update_deprecate_entity_browser_media_directories().

Impact: Standard YUSAOpenY installations upgrade seamlessly via drush updb.

Sites with customizations — recommended pre-upgrade checklist:

Content data (nodes, paragraphs, media) is not affected — only configs with entity_browser dependencies are cleaned up during the migration.

Google Analytics → Google Tag

google_analytics module removed from YUSAOpenY 11.3. Sites using Google Analytics must migrate to google_tag before upgrading.

Action required: Configure Google Tag at /admin/config/services/google_tag with your GA4 measurement ID. Module installation and google_analytics removal are handled automatically during upgrade.

GroupEx Pro Deprecated Modules

GroupEx Pro API is no longer available. groupexpro 3.0.0 (MR !14) auto-uninstalls deprecated modules during drush updb: groupex_form_cache, openy_group_schedules, openy_gxp. No manual action needed.

AVIF Image Support

openy_features 5.0.3+ requires the AVIF GD extension (gd-avif). Hosting providers must ensure PHP GD is compiled with AVIF support. Verify: php -r "print_r(gd_info());" — look for AVIF Support => 1.

History Module Removed

history module removed — triggers ServiceNotFoundException in Drupal 11.3. Uninstalled automatically, no action needed.
