Installation

  1. Get a command prompt in a directory
  2. Clone the repository with git clone https://github.com/YOURLS/YOURLS.git, and checkout the tagged release you'd like to use. This will create a YOURLS directory with all YOURLS files.

Update

Manual

To get the latest official changes, you may:

  1. Get a command prompt in your YOURLS directory
  2. Type pull command:
git pull https://github.com/YOURLS/YOURLS.git master

Done!

Automatic

You can use Cron Job to frequently fetch last patchs and commits in your local repository:

0 0 */2 * * cd /path/to/yourls && git pull -q https://github.com/YOURLS/YOURLS.git master

This command will fetch diffs every two days. Note the Cron functionality depends of your hosting.
