Opportunity‐Critical

When a successful attack roll produces 2 or more Opportunities, the damage card shows a button that lets the attacker spend those Opportunities to deal a Critical Strike in addition to the normal damage already applied.
- Make a successful attack roll with 2+ Opportunities kept
- The damage card will show the button:
⚡ Spend 2 Opportunities — Critical Strike (N available)
- Click the button to confirm
- The normal fatigue damage already applied remains
- A Critical Strike is triggered against the target using the weapon's Deadliness
- The target must roll Fitness (TN 1) to mitigate the critical severity
- The button becomes permanently disabled after use — Opportunities can only be spent once per attack
Only the attacker's owner or the GM can click the button. Other players see it but cannot interact with it.
This mechanic is independent of the Incapacitation check — a fresh (non-Incapacitated) target can receive a Critical Strike this way while also suffering the fatigue from the same attack.
