You should always implement the lifestyle techniques first, supplements are like the icing on the cake that give you the extra 10% improvement :)
Sleep is the ultimate biohack, period. Whoever says "I'll sleep when I'm dead" nowadays is basically a moron!
It's like sex : QUALITY > Quantity
- Cool (around 20 Celsuis/ 70 farenheit) and naked
- Pitch black (eye mask if needed)
- Silent (earplugs if needed), AIRPLANE MODE non negociable
- Be nice to your circadian rythm:
- Limit blue light 2h before bed (flux, blue blocker glasses)
- No caffeine after 2pm
- Wake up / go to sleep at same time every day
- Aim for 90 minutes cycles (6h, 7h30, 9h etc)
- Anchoring bright sunlight 30min-1hour before noon
- Exercise during the day
- Wind down routine (read/ take a bath, meditate, play music, etc)
- Carbs at dinner (regulates glucose levels)
- Take supplements (Magnesium, Prebiotics, Krill oil)
