We Are Hackers
An open-source prose syndicate that promotes Unix philosophy, hacker spirit and DIY ethos
[genuine] Hacker culture
- creative writing blog site and github project
How it works
- Anyone can write for the blog by opening a pull request and submitting an article.
- If the pull request for the new article is accepted, (decision will be made by members by vote), then the submitter may (at our discretion) also be invited to join the organization.
- Upon joining the organization, new members will be given voting power of one vote.
- All pull requests, whether written by members or non-members alike, should be voted on before publication.
- All submitted content is agreed to be released under The Unlicense.
Certificate of Origin - A process of submission that we use, having modified Gentoo’s GLEP 76 and simplified it for our purposes.
All commits to the We Are Hackers project require a “Certificate of Origin” on line 3 of the commit. Our Certificate of Origin states [below] that your commit was created in whole or in part by you, and that you have the right to submit it under the The Unlicense software license.
The committer legally agrees to this Certificate of Origin by adding
