Work

Google - March 2025 to Present - Software Engineer (contract)

  • Design Intelligence team: Improving and measuring Gemini's understanding of UI/UX design
    • Developed an LLM tool to provide Gemini access to Google's Material Color Utility library, which Gemini calls to perform color-related calculations.
    • Contributed to the Material Design "GenUX Toolkit", enabling Google's products and coding tools to generate consistent, high-quality Material Design UIs.
    • Performed research on optimizing Gemini Canvas' agentic coding system to generate app code.
    • Gemini Evals: Measurement of Gemini's ability to generate app code with high-quality, well-designed interfaces.
    • Developed two custom Angular apps for design evals. Integrated with CrowdCompute, Google's internal platform for evaluating LLM models.

NBC Peacock - September 2024 to February 2025 - Software Engineer (contract)

  • Developed an AI application to efficiently access, organize and manage Peacock proprietary enterprise data
    • Created user-friendly data-driven templates using NextJS, TypeScript, and CSS for easy data access
