Project description:

We've created a method to identify natural boundaries (rivers) on the asteroid by modelling virtual water flow.

“NEO Mapper” tool for “virtual rain” analysis of 2D digital terrains and 3D objects will be available on project website shortly.

Our “virtual rain” method could be applicable to any 2D or 3D surfaces (not necessarily terrains) to visualise the dissipation of potential. An example could be “virtual rain” analysis of income distribution on a city map.
