  1. Lib: do not unnecessarily split string

    Hjdskes committed Aug 29, 2016
    See 79d527a:

The string "org.mpris.MediaPlayer2" is a constant, always 22 characters long.
This means that instead of splitting said string, we can simply add an offset of
23 to the names[i] to take player's name.
  2. Lib: remove unnecessary lines

  1. CLI: use system strtod over g_ascii_strtod

    Hjdskes committed Aug 28, 2016
    g_ascii_strtod's documentation[0] says the following:

This function is typically used when reading configuration files or other non-user input that should be locale independent. To handle input from the user you should normally use the locale-sensitive system strtod() function.

Since g_ascii_strtod is being used to read user-input, we should change to
using the system strtod -- as was already done for the `position` command.
