SYSPREPING stops for hours eventhough the build is running in -debug mode. no logs.

my template is building with the --debug flag so i can see the detailed logs. But for some unknown reasons, the build stops at the sysprep level with no failure message.
Note that i have used this same template (windows 2022) for the creation of few images and it worked as expected.
any inputs please.
