The "button" for the batch actions is displayed as a plain link. If the class of the link is changed to table_tools_button, then it is correctly displayed as a link. Unfortunately this does not show the "Delete" button correctly also so this has to be fixed also.

I am wondering, why the code in activeadmin-0.5.0/lib/active_admin/batch_actions/views/batch_action_selector.rb -> def build_batch_action_button and following code is commented out. The method name sounds like this is the one needed to create the button correctly ...

I had the same problem yesterday. Have you changed your active_admin.css.scss file? I had some imports in it (for bootstrap-tooltips and d3) so that the part

@import "active_admin/mixins";
@import "active_admin/base";

was not on top. Moving it to the beginning of the file restored the batch action functionality.

no - actually I have only the two import rules in the active_admin.css.scss file.

I deployed my application to the live system and realised, that the button is displayed correctly there. So I guess this alleged error is not an error but a problem in my local development environment. E.g. caching or the active_admin assets update did not work properly ...

I close the ticket because the problem does not occur in the live environemt.

I'm having this exact problem and can't seem to fix it with any of the above suggestions. Has anyone else managed to figure this out?

fyi - I am using 0.5.1 and don't have the problem anymore for a longer
time. Unfortunately I can't remember what the fix was but I think I did
essentially nothing ...
