@mcknight89

I've re-installed webide many times the last few time my repositories have been missing, I followed the "once only instructions", However my repositories do not appear. I have my repositories set private currently.

Let me know if you can help with this,

Best,

Mike Knights

Were they repositories you manually added to the WebIDE? If so, you'll need to manually add them again, as the WebIDE won't pick up all repositories from bitbucket. It will just clone the my-pi-projects on a re-install as a courtesy (you could have a lot of repositories!).

@mcknight89

No they are personal repositories on my bitbucket account. I have tired adding them manually however they don't show up.

@abbadabbatech

I have a similar problem with new install on new build except I got my repositories but not the adafruit repositories. Any idea why or how to get them now? I uninstalled and reinstalled with same thing.

Thanks

Can you try cloning them in the WebIDE?

git://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-Raspberry-Pi-Python-Code.git

@mcknight89

I can confirm that fixed my issue, However it didn't work the first time I tried. I think it maybe because I was behind a horrible firewall at the time.

Thanks

@mcknight89

I have found this only works sometimes. and give no errors when it doesn't. Which is a pain.

Also when you add files to bitbucket they are not updated on the PI!

At the moment I back in the same situation that was in at the beginning of this thread.

Let me know if you have any ideas @jwcooper, Also if you want to look at this yourself send me a private message.

@mcknight89

Ah worked that 6th time I tired.

Maybe there should just be debugging messages from git?

@abbadabbatech

I now get an error after I tried 3 or 4 times with no luck
Repository Already Exists in Bitbucket, clone with Bitbucket URL.

However its not on the pi or anything. This is the first time this has happened, I have 2 others that started with earlier versions with no issues. This is the first fresh build of the latest version onto Occidentalis.

@abbadabbatech

So now I got it to work, but only by doing it at the command line. Not sure, could be a firewall issue, but not sure why it worked at command line and not in the webide clone.

Yea, there is an issue open to create a refresh button for the repositories, to pull the latest from Bitbucket. Not having a way to pull the latest files from bitbucket (without going command li ne) is annoying, at the least.

I'll see if I can re-create the repository cloning issues. I'm sure I'll be able to, if it was that inconsistent for you.

Also, just a note, mercurial repositories aren't supported, just git at this point. Not sure if either of you ran into that or not.

@mcknight89

Thanks,

For the record i'm not using mercurial.

I've added some features to help with this issue. There is now better error handling pushed to the webide while using Git. I've also cleaned up how cloning works. Let me know if you run into issues once I release 0.3.7. Thanks!
