Having installed PrinceXML, I am not able to produce reasonable output to pdf. It looks like I am getting one slide generated for every line in my presentation, resulting in hundreds of slides. I have posted an example.

Here is what the terminal returns:

$ landslide --theme=default -d lecture8_debugging.pdf -r -P -l no *debugging.md
Copying default theme directory to /Users/fonnescj/Bios301/slides/theme
Adding   lecture8_debugging.md (markdown)
Embedded theme image background.png from theme directory /Users/fonnescj/Bios301/slides/theme/css
Generated file: lecture8_debugging.pdf

I ran into this issue today as well, but I haven't found a way around it yet. Does anyone know why this happens?

After poking around a bit, I think it's related to the latest version of Prince and this print CSS definition. Removing display: table-cell; fixed the issue for me.

👍 @copelco's fix worked for me. This is with the latest landslide in git master and prince freshly installed from their website:

pete@balloon:~/projects/landslide_example$ prince --version
Prince 8.1 rev 4
