Umlauts like "üöäÜÖÄ" are missing.
This might not be that important while coding, but I also edito loca files in my IDE that contain local special characters like the ones stated above.
What operating system and IDE are you using? I can't reproduce this in anything that I use-- the umlauts look perfectly fine for me.
Also it would help to indicate if you are using the TrueType (.ttf) or OpenType (.otf) font binaries, and where those binaries originated from (git commit hash when you built them) or version if you downloaded the binaries.
Here is what I see inside Eclipse on OSX (OTF fonts installed):
I'm using Ubuntu and I have installed the OTF version. As IDE I use Netbeans but a colleague has the same problem with Eclipse.
Indeed on windows I can see the Umlauts properly.
Do you experience the same issue with TTF fonts?
