Scope notes for classification scheme applied to GACS

This document provides Scope Notes for each category of the classification scheme, with examples of concepts assigned to specific categories, for use by future maintainers of the GACS vocabulary. As this work evolves, the documentation can be updated to reflect current opinion and guidance.

Examples of concepts assigned to the category are in italics.

CA GENERAL. Interdisciplinary and applicable to most branches of research.

CC common terms. General processes, properties and characteristics, e.g.:
